FAQs

  • Unfortunately, we do not accept insurance. However, we do provide Superbills for insurance submission at your request. Note: Physician referral is required in order for us to provide a Superbill. Reimbursement varies depending on your insurance plan and provider.

  • We make orthotics that are designed for precision. Our manufacturing process takes into account the exact two dimensional shape of your intended footwear which ensures an extremely accurate and precise fit. While your orthotics may fit well in other shoes with similar size, width, and style— especially from the same brand—any differences in shoe design can affect comfort and accuracy. We recommend consulting your Orthotic Labs professional regarding your specific situation.

  • The lifespan of your orthotics depends on several factors, including body size, activity level, and even your prescription. On average, our orthotics can last anywhere from 12 to 24 months with regular use. High-impact activities or heavier usage may cause them to wear out sooner, while lighter use may extend their lifespan.

  • We recommend gradually increasing wear time over the first two weeks. Start with 1–2 hours per day and slowly build up as your body adjusts. Some initial discomfort is normal as your body adapts. If you've worn orthotics before, you may acclimate more quickly and can increase usage at your own pace. Listen to your body, and let comfort guide the process.
